- Patient safety: Anti-reflux valve and secure connectors reduce risk of backflow and contamination.
- Universal compatibility: Fits standard Foley catheter connectors for easy clinical use.
- Disposable single‑patient use: Minimizes cross-contamination and simplifies infection control.
- Durable, transparent material: Medical-grade clear construction enables visual assessment of urine color and sediment.
Ingredients and Materials
Made from medical-grade PVC for the collection bag and polypropylene (PP) for the 200ml measuring cup and stopcock components. Latex-free materials and secure, leak-resistant seals. Graduated markings (ml/cc) on both bag and cup. Includes universal catheter connector and anti-reflux valve for patient safety.
How to Use
- Keep the product in its sterile packaging until ready to use. Attach the urine meter to the Foley catheter using the universal connector.
- Hang the meter below bladder level on the bed frame or designated holder to allow gravity drainage; avoid placing above the patients bladder.
- Check graduations on the bag and the 200ml cup to measure urine output accurately. Use the cup for quick volume checks and the bag for cumulative collection.
- When emptying, place a clean container beneath the drainage tap, open the stopcock and drain into sanitation/clinical waste per facility policy. Record volumes as required.
- Dispose of the urine meter after single‑patient use following local clinical waste regulations.
