Ingredients and Materials

Melolin Burn features a non-medicated, absorbent inner pad made of soft viscose/cellulose fibres with a low-adherent coating and a breathable backing film. The dressing is supplied sterile and is designed to be low-adherent to help minimise pain and trauma at removal. No topical medication or antimicrobial agents are included in the product.

How to Use

1. Follow immediate first-aid for burns (cool the burn with running water for 20 minutes) and seek medical advice where appropriate. 2. Ensure the wound is clean and cooled. 3. Open sterile pack and apply the Melolin Burn dressing pad with the absorbent side against the wound. 4. Secure with appropriate tape or secondary dressing, avoiding excessive compression. 5. Change the dressing according to clinical guidance or sooner if heavily soiled. 6. Do not apply ointments between the wound and the dressing unless advised by a clinician.
