Description
Oxygen Mask Non Rebreather MRFA Paed
High-concentration paediatric non-rebreather oxygen mask designed for emergency, ambulance and hospital use. The MRFA Paed NRB mask delivers a reliable, high FiO2 with a lightweight, latex-free reservoir bag and one-way valves for safe, effective oxygen therapy in children and infants (size dependent). Ideal for respiratory distress, acute hypoxia and pre-hospital care.
Key Benefits
- Delivers high-concentration oxygen for emergency and critical paediatric care
- Latex-free, medical-grade materials reduce allergy risk
- Clear mask body for patient monitoring and clinical assessment
- Soft, anatomically shaped paediatric mask for improved seal and comfort
- Universal connector fits standard oxygen tubing and regulators
- Lightweight, single-patient disposable design for infection control
Ingredients and Materials
Manufactured from medical-grade, latex-free PVC and silicone components. Features a soft paediatric facepiece, a latex-free reservoir bag, elastic head strap, and a one-way inspiratory valve to prevent rebreathing. Components are single-use, disposable, and compliant with common medical device standards.
How to Use
1. Choose correct paediatric mask size to match patient’s face for an effective seal.
2. Connect the mask to a regulated oxygen source using standard 15 mm connector.
3. Set oxygen flow to achieve reservoir inflation before placing on patient (follow local clinical guidelines; typically sufficient high flow is required to keep the bag partially inflated).
4. Place mask over nose and mouth, secure the head strap, and monitor patient oxygenation and comfort. Adjust fit and flow as clinically indicated.
5. Replace after single-patient use or per facility infection-control protocols.
Who It’s For
Designed for emergency medical technicians, paramedics, pediatricians, nurses and critical care teams treating infants and children with respiratory distress or hypoxia. Suitable for ambulance, emergency department, pediatric ward and pre-hospital settings where high-concentration oxygen is required.
Caution & Storage
Caution: For short-term, emergency oxygen delivery only. Not for long-term home oxygen therapy. Monitor for CO2 retention in patients with chronic hypercapnia and follow clinical protocols. Do not use if package is damaged. Single-patient disposable: discard after use unless device is explicitly labelled reusable. Consult local guidelines for oxygen flow recommendations and contraindications such as severe facial trauma.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep in original packaging until use. Follow manufacturer and facility infection-control policies for disposal.
