Ingredients and Materials

Manufactured from a flexible latex core with a biocompatible medical‑grade silicone coating to combine the strength and flexibility of latex with the low‑friction, tissue‑friendly surface of silicone. Components include a 5ml inflatable balloon (medical‑grade elastomer), drainage lumen, inflation channel and standard catheter connector. Sterile and single‑use. NOTE: Contains latex.

How to Use

1. For use by trained healthcare professionals or under medical supervision. Maintain aseptic technique throughout.
2. Verify package integrity and expiry. Open sterile pack, lubricate catheter tip with sterile water‑soluble lubricant.
3. Insert catheter gently until urine flows, then advance a further 2–3 cm (as clinically indicated).
4. Inflate balloon with sterile water to the recommended volume (5 ml) and gently retract until resistance is felt to seat the balloon.
5. Connect to a sterile closed drainage bag, secure catheter to the thigh or abdomen to prevent tension, and document size and balloon volume.
6. Follow local urology and infection‑control protocols for monitoring, maintenance, and timely removal.

Intended for adults requiring short‑term indwelling urinary catheterisation: urinary retention, perioperative bladder drainage, immobilised or postoperative patients, and clinical situations requiring accurate urine output measurement. Not recommended for patients with confirmed latex allergy.

Caution & Storage

Caution: Single‑use sterile device. Do not use if package is damaged or seal is broken. Contains natural rubber latex — not suitable for patients with latex hypersensitivity. Use only under appropriate clinical indications and by trained personnel. Monitor for signs of urinary tract infection, blockage or urethral trauma. Do not reuse or resterilise.
