Key Benefits
- Sterile, single-use dressing for safe wound and IV site protection
- Transparent polyurethane film enables continuous visual inspection
- Integrated absorbent pad manages light-to-moderate exudate without adhering to the wound
- Breathable, waterproof film acts as a bacterial barrier while permitting moisture vapor exchange
- Conformable, low-trauma adhesive for secure fixation and patient comfort
- Flexible design suitable for irregular body contours and extended wear
Ingredients and Materials
This sterile dressing combines a transparent polyurethane film backing with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive and a centrally placed absorbent pad and non-adherent wound contact layer. Materials are medical-grade and designed for biocompatibility: polyurethane film (bacterial barrier, breathable), acrylic adhesive (skin-friendly, secure fixation), and absorbent non-woven pad (fluid management).
How to Use
- Ensure skin is clean and dry. Handle dressing by edges to maintain sterility.
- Remove protective release liner and position the absorbent pad over the wound or catheter site.
- Smooth the transparent film firmly onto the surrounding skin to ensure a secure seal, avoiding tension that may cause wrinkles.
- Inspect the site through the transparent film regularly. Replace dressing if saturated, loose, or if signs of infection appear.
- Single-use only. Carefully peel off from one edge when changing; dispose of per local regulations.
